Oh So Vintage Finds – Vintage Marketplace
This weekend I checked out a local Vintage Marketplace and found some oh-so-cute items. Did you know how hip polka dots were back in the 70’s and 80’s? I had my eye out for polka dots (obviously) and found some cute little polka dotted dresses. They were a bit too poofy for my style, otherwise I might have snagged them and turned Career Consultant to Girlboss. Who has started watching that show though? I absolutely love it. But I’m glad I didn’t start watching it before I went to the Vintage Marketplace or I may have gone full-out Girlboss and bought everything in sight.
If you have events like this in your area, I would highly suggest checking them out. There were clothes, decor, odds and ends, beer, food and even a fashion show. I definitely enjoyed going back in time more than I had expected and would totally check out some of these types of events again!
Here are just some of my favourite finds from the show…
But seriously, how amazing is this lunch box?
If I had a phone line, I would have bought one of these for sure.
I guess these are jars? Whatever they are, they make me giggle.
So cute, right?
I wanted this typewriter so bad!
ALWAYS on the lookout for polka dots!
And this just made me laugh.
So what did I actually buy, you ask?
Surprisingly, nothing with polka dots. But I couldn’t resist this adorable piece for my washroom!
